Last Friday, February 13, the Chairman of the Duero Water Board José Valín, accompanied by Alfredo Catalina, head of the water quality department, visited the Toro Equipment and Indemat factories.
Santiago Salcedo received them in the facilities located in La Cistérniga and, accompanied by Diego Recio, Mayor of Villavaquerín, and Teresa San José from Toro, they visited the design and production areas of rotary sieves and press filters.
Later on they moved to Villavaquerín to see the group’s new factory. There Santiago Salcedo explained the advances that have taken place both in flotation units and in the W-Tank®, a modular tank easily installed in any part of the world since it is transportable in marine cargo containers. These tanks are manufactured in sizes up to 3400 m3 and they offer substantial advantages. As Santiago Salcedo mentioned “the container is the doorway to the world” .
The day was characterized by a very informal and friendly atmosphere. Santiago Salcedo, as group CEO, thanked José Valín for this visit in which both talked freely about their professional careers and on the future challenges present in water treatment.
